Today, the 4YBIN ET team distributed essential building materials, including 540 G-28 galvanized roof sheets, 45 kg of #10 nails, 90 kg of covered nails, 450 pieces of eucalyptus wood (Weraj), and 360 pieces of eucalyptus wood (Mezo Morale), to 40 young women participating in the 4YPPFE Poultry Program for Female Entrepreneurship. This program is funded by donors from the Netherlands including the Foundations KOOK, W.M. de Hoop and ISEE-Urk.
These dedicated young women have constructed poultry buildings themselves using locally sourced materials, with our project providing the necessary roofing, nails, and structural wood to complete their facilities. In the coming weeks, they will receive training, 80-day-old chickens and high-quality poultry feed to kickstart their income-generating activities, helping them build sustainable livelihoods through poultry farming.
