Haftey project Coffee Ceremony

On 10th of April a significant milestone was marked for the Haftey Project as project participants came together for the introductory coffee ceremony session. This gathering provided a unique opportunity for vulnerable women affected by the trauma of the northern war to connect, share experiences, and engage in constructive dialogue with project facilitators and among themselves.

The session was facilitated by Zaid, a gender expert, alongside specialists from the Hawelti Social and Rehabilitation Office. Their expertise ensured a supportive environment that fostered open communication among participants, the vulnerable women. The highlight of the event was the introduction by Ximena, who expressed her passion for empowering these women and instilled a sense of hope and optimism about their journey toward healing.

Ximena encouraged participants to embrace their paths, emphasizing that healing is not only possible but achievable. She shared inspiring stories of resilience, which resonated deeply with attendees who have faced significant challenges.
